I am asking President Biya to disband that thing he decreed and appoint men of unquestionable integrity. He appointed all of them from his CPDM party that is riddled with corruption and embezzlement. He appointed men and women who have headed organisations that caused the shedding of blood of Cameroonians all to guarantee victory for him in all future elections in this country,” said Ngwana.
While lamenting the country’s inability to organize free, fair and transparent elections since independence, as well as what he described as the one-party system through the return to political pluralism in 1990, poor respect of human rights and the rule of law, the CDP chairman made it clear that the only rational solution was for all political parties in the country to declare a boycott of all future elections conducted by ELECAM
